• Diclofenac + Paracetamol can be taken orally (tablet).

Age And Dose Restrictions

• This combination is intended to be used by adults only. It is not recommended for children.

Contraindications 

• This combination is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to diclofenac or paracetamol, history of allergic reactions (bronchospasm, shock, rhinitis, urticaria) following the use of Aspirin or another NSAID, in the last three months of pregnancy, in patients with active stomach and/or duodenal ulceration or gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory intestinal disorders such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, and in patients with liver, heart, or kidney disorders.

Medications To Avoid With This Drug

• Diclofenac + Paracetamol can interact with various medications. Therefore, it is important to inform your doctor about any medicines including over the counter medicines that you are currently taking. 

Overdose And Missed Dose

• Overdose can cause lethargy, drowsiness, nausea, and vomiting. These symptoms need to be managed as an emergency in a hospital setting. Therefore, strict adherence to the prescribed dose is essential.
• If you miss a dose of this combination, take it as soon as you remember. But, if the next dose is near, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing regime.

Management Of Side Effects

• Take this combination with food to reduce gastrointestinal side effects and continue taking it as prescribed. If side effects worsen or persist, consult your doctor for a possible treatment plan adjustment.

Use In Driving And Operating Machinery

• This combination can cause dizziness and drowsiness. It is not recommended to drive, operate machinery, or do other activities requiring mental alertness or coordination after this combination. 

Use In Pregnancy And Lactation

• This combination is not recommended during the last three months of pregnancy. Caution is advised during the first six months of pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Caution In Other Conditions

• Caution is advised in older adults and patients with heart conditions, active ulceration/bleeding, pre-existing asthma, aspirin-sensitive asthma, acute porphyria, peptic ulcers, hypertension and kidney and liver impairment.

Special Dietary And Lifestyle Recommendation

• Avoid alcohol consumption, as it may increase the risk of liver toxicity and adverse side effects.
• Take this combination only for the prescribed duration.
• Maintain a healthy weight. Excess weight can contribute to joint pain and inflammation, so maintaining a healthy weight can reduce these issues.
• Engage in regular, low-impact exercises such as walking, swimming, or cycling to improve flexibility and strengthen muscles.
