Dosage Forms Available

• Camylofin + Diclofenac is available in tablet form and as an injectable solution.
• The tablets are taken orally.
• The injection is administered through the intramuscular route.

Age and Dose Restrictions

• This medicine is meant for adults and children above 12 years of age.

Contraindications

• Camylofin + Diclofenac is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to either camylofin, diclofenac, other NSAIDs, or any excipients.
• It is also contraindicated in patients with active or history of peptic ulcer disease or gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Severe renal or hepatic impairment, severe heart failure, and a history of asthma, urticaria, or other allergic reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs are additional contraindications.

Other Medications to Avoid

• This combination may interact with anticoagulants (such as warfarin), thrombolytics (like alteplase), other NSAIDs (including ibuprofen and naproxen), antihypertensives (like lisinopril), diuretics (such as furosemide), cyclosporine, tacrolimus, lithium, digoxin, and antidiabetic agents (like metformin).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of Camylofin + Diclofenac might lead to severe side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding, increased blood pressure, kidney damage, and liver toxicity. Immediate medical attention is required if overdose symptoms occur.
• If you miss a dose of Camylofin + Diclofenac, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take an extra tablet to compensate for the missed dose.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• For dry mouth or thirst due to the anticholinergic action of camylofin, sip water regularly.
• Adjusting the timing of the medication to after meals may help manage gastrointestinal effects like nausea or indigestion.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• Camylofin + Diclofenac can cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision or other effects on the Central Nervous System which may impair your ability to drive or operate heavy machinery. You should avoid these activities if you feel affected.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• Camylofin + Diclofenac is contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy. It should only be used in the first two trimesters if the benefits outweigh the risks. It is also excreted in breast milk and might cause adverse effects in infants. Consult your doctor before using this medicine during pregnancy and lactation.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Caution is advised when using Camylofin + Diclofenac in patients with mild to moderate renal or hepatic impairment.
• Patients with cardiac conditions should also use this medication cautiously due to potential cardiovascular risks associated with NSAID use.

• Maintain hydration by drinking adequate fluids to help manage any potential renal side effects from diclofenac use.

• Incorporate gentle exercise into your routine, which can help improve overall muscle strength and joint mobility, but avoid strenuous activity that may exacerbate pain conditions.
