Osteri Injection 1

Osteri Injection is typically used for:

• Managing osteoporosis in postmenopausal women

• Increasing bone mass in men with primary osteoporosis

• Treating men with hypogonadal osteoporosis

• Helping people with osteoporosis associated with continuous systemic glucocorticoid therapy

Administer Osteri Injection as follows:

• Osteri Injection should be administered only by a healthcare professional.

• Ensure the injection site on the thigh or abdominal wall is clean before use.

• Administer the injection under the skin (subcutaneous), not into a muscle or vein.

• Rotate injection sites to avoid skin irritation.

• Store the pen in a refrigerator and use it within 28 days of first use.

Osteri Injection is a Recombinant Human Parathyroid Hormone Injection and works through these active ingredients:

• Teriparatide (0.250 mg): It is used to treat osteoporosis by stimulating new bone growth and increasing bone mineral density.

• Hydrochloric Acid (q.s. pH- 4.0 ± 0.2): It is used to adjust the pH of the solution, ensuring stability and proper absorption of the active ingredients.

• Sodium Acetate Anhydrous (0.10 mg): It is used as a buffering agent to help maintain the solution's pH and stability.

• Glacial Acetic Acid (0.41 mg): It is used to adjust the pH of the solution to ensure its stability and compatibility.

• Mannitol (45.4 mg): It is used as a stabilizer and osmotic diuretic to help maintain the solution's stability and ensure proper absorption of the active ingredients.

• Meta Cresol Ph.Eur (3.0 mg): It is used as a preservative to prevent microbial growth and ensure the sterility of the solution.

• Sodium Hydroxide (q.s. pH- 4.0 ± 0.2): It is used to adjust the pH of the solution to ensure its stability and proper formulation.

• Store Osteri Injection under refrigeration, ideally between 2°C to 8°C.
