Ugesic Gel is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Relieving acute musculoskeletal pain: This includes discomfort due to sprains, strains, or other injuries to muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, or bones.

• Managing osteoarthritis pain: This refers to the chronic condition causing joint pain and stiffness.

• Alleviating rheumatoid arthritis symptoms: This includes painful swelling in joints as a result of this autoimmune disorder.

To get the most benefit from Ugesic Gel, follow these steps:

• Ensure your hands are clean before applying the gel.

• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected area and gently massage until absorbed.

• Avoid application on open wounds, cuts, or irritated skin areas.

• Do not cover the treated area with a bandage or heating pad unless your doctor advises so.

• Wash your hands after applying the gel to avoid accidental ingestion or eye contact.

Ugesic Gel contains Piroxicam (0.5 %), which works on the body as follows:

• Decreases Inflammation: By reducing the production of prostaglandins, Piroxicam effectively reduces inflammation in the affected area.

• Store Ugesic Gel in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.

• The ideal temperature for storage is below 25 degrees Celsius.

• Keep Ugesic Gel out of the reach and out of sight of children.

• As Ugesic Gel is used to manage pain and inflammation, incorporating more anti-inflammatory foods into your diet may help. These include fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids like salmon, fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, cherries, oranges, and vegetables like spinach and kale.
