Sumo L plus syrup may interact with the following medications, including:

• Pain killers (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Celecoxib, Diclofenac, Naproxen): When this syrup interacts with these medications, it elevates the risk of stomach bleeding.
• Anti-gout (Probenecid): It may reduce the effectiveness of Probenecid in treating gout due to its diuretic effects.
• Immunosuppressants (Cyclosporine, Tacrolimus): This syrup may affect the blood levels of immunosuppressant medicines, so close monitoring is necessary to maintain therapeutic levels.
• Anticoagulants (Warfarin, Heparin): It may increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulants. Regular monitoring of blood clotting is vital.
• Anti-rheumatoid (Methotrexate): Concurrent use of this syrup with Methotrexate may impact liver function and requires monitoring.
• Anti-HIV (Zidovudine): This syrup may influence the absorption of Zidovudine; they should be taken at different times to prevent interaction.
• Antidepressant (Duloxetine, Lithium, Fluoxetine, Sertraline): It may interact with these medications, potentially affecting their blood levels or side effects, requiring monitoring.
• Steroid medication (Mifepristone): This syrup may reduce the effectiveness of Mifepristone, which is used for medical abortion.
• Anti-emetic (Metoclopramide, Domperidone): It may interact with anti-emetics, potentially affecting their absorption and effectiveness.
• Anti-cancer (Imatinib): This syrup may affect the absorption of Imatinib, and it's important to take them at different times.
• Bile acid sequestrants (Cholestyramine): It may affect the absorption of Cholestyramine, and they should be taken at different times for optimal effectiveness

Sumo L plus syrup may interact with the following diseases:

• Peptic ulcers: It can irritate the lining of the stomach and increase the risk of peptic ulcers.
• Bleeding disorders: This syrup can thin the blood and increase the risk of bleeding.
• Asthma: It can worsen asthma symptoms by causing inflammation of the airways.
• Fluid retention: It can cause fluid retention, especially in people with heart failure or kidney disease.
• Gastrointestinal toxicity: It can irritate the lining of the stomach and intestines, leading to nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and stomach bleeding.
• Rash: This syrup can cause a variety of skin rashes, including allergic reactions.
• Renal toxicity: It can damage the kidneys, especially in people with pre-existing kidney disease.
• Thrombosis: It can increase the risk of thrombosis (blood clots).
• Anaemia: It can cause anaemia by reducing the production of red blood cells.
• Heart failure: This syrup can worsen heart failure by causing fluid retention and increasing the workload on the heart.
• Liver toxicity: It can damage the liver, especially in people with pre-existing liver disease.
• High blood pressure: This syrup can raise blood pressure.
• Platelet aggregation inhibition: It can inhibit platelet aggregation, which can increase the risk of bleeding.
• Hyperkalemia (high potassium levels): This syrup can increase potassium levels in the blood, especially in people with kidney disease.

The recommended daily dose of Sumo L plus syrup should be given to your child as directed by your child’s doctor. Kindly consult if the symptoms persist for long periods or if it is not relieving the symptoms. 

Symptoms of overdose with Sumo L plus syrup may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, and seizures. If you suspect an overdose, seek medical attention immediately.

If you miss to give a dose of Sumo L plus syrup to your children, give it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular dosing schedule. Do not give a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
