Montina-L Syrup is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis: A condition where you have a runny or stuffed nose due to allergies.

• Chronic idiopathic urticaria: A long-term condition where you experience itchy, red bumps on your skin without any known cause.

• Asthma prevention: This medicine helps prevent asthma attacks.

• Use the provided measuring cup to accurately measure the prescribed dose of the syrup.

• Keep the bottle well-closed after each use to maintain its quality and effectiveness.

Montina-L Syrup is taken orally.

Montina-L Syrup contains two active ingredients:

• Levocetirizine (2.5 mg): This is an antihistamine that works by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that causes an allergic reaction. By doing so, it reduces allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, itching eyes/nose/skin, runny nose, and sneezing.

• Montelukast (4 mg): Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. It works by blocking substances in your body called leukotrienes that are responsible for inflammation and swelling in the airways and nose. Inhibition of these leukotrienes helps in reducing inflammation and other symptoms of asthma and allergies.

• Store Montina-L Syrup in a cool and dry place, ideally not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use to avoid exposure to air and light.

• Place it out of reach of children to ensure their safety.

• If your child is consuming Montina-L Syrup to manage allergies, ensure they consume a diet low in allergenic foods like eggs, shellfish, peanuts, etc. This can help reduce the severity of allergic reactions.

• Encourage outdoor play, but avoid peak pollen times if your child suffers from seasonal allergies. This can help manage symptoms better while still allowing your child to enjoy outdoor activities.
