Maxtra P Ds Syrup is utilised for the following health conditions:

• Alleviating headache, fever, and minor aches and pains linked with the common cold.

Use Maxtra P Ds Syrup as advised below:

• Shake well before use.

• Use the provided measuring cup to measure the dose accurately.

• Keep the bottle tightly capped after use.

• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Maxtra P Ds Syrup is taken orally.

Maxtra P Ds Syrup contains three active ingredients:

• Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (250 mg): This ingredient works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase which results in blocking prostaglandin synthesis in your central nervous system. Due to this action it has analgesic and antipyretic effects which help reduce fever, headache and body aches associated with colds.

• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride (5 mg): This is a decongestant that directly stimulates α1-adrenergic receptors in the nasal mucosa resulting in vasoconstriction. This action reduces swelling in nasal mucous membranes, decreases tissue hyperemia and edema thereby managing nasal congestion.

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate (2 mg): This is an antihistamine which fights against histamine at H1 receptors. By doing so, it reduces allergy symptoms such as sneezing, watery eyes, itching and runny nose.

• Store Maxtra P Ds Syrup in a cool, dry place.

• The ideal temperature for storage is below 30°C.
