Luliford Lotion 15ml

Luliford lotion is used for the following:

• Managing interdigital tinea pedis, commonly known as athlete's foot.

• Assisting in the control of tinea cruris, also referred to as jock itch.

• Helping in the management of tinea corporis, often called ringworm.

To use Luliford lotion correctly, follow these instructions:

• Puncture the plug before use.

• Ensure that your skin is clean and dry before application.

• Apply a thin layer of Luliford lotion to the affected area once daily.

• Extend the coverage to approximately 1 inch of the surrounding skin.

• Avoid contact with eyes.

• After application, wash your hands thoroughly unless they are the treatment site.

Luliford lotion is applied topically.

Luliford lotion contains Luliconazole (1%), which works on the body as follows:

• Disrupts Ergosterol Biosynthesis: Luliconazole acts by blocking the formation of ergosterol, a vital component of the fungal cell membrane. It does this by inhibiting an enzyme called lanosterol 14α-demethylase, which converts lanosterol into ergosterol.

• Fungal Cell Membrane Compromise: With the disruption in ergosterol biosynthesis, there's an accumulation of methylated sterol precursors and depletion of ergosterol. This compromises the integrity of the fungal cell membrane leading to its degradation.

• Anti-Inflammatory Properties: Apart from its antifungal activity, Luliconazole also exhibits anti-inflammatory properties which help reduce symptoms associated with fungal infections.

• Store Luliford lotion at room temperature, below 30°C.

• Keep the lotion away from direct sunlight and moisture to maintain its efficacy.

• Remember to always keep it out of reach from children for safety.

• Ensure that the bottle is tightly closed when not in use to prevent evaporation.
