• Take the tablet orally with or without food as directed by your doctor, typically once daily.

• If you are using the liquid form, shake the bottle well before each dose and measure it using a special measuring device/spoon.

• Take Lotas-50 Tablet regularly at the same time each day.

• Even if you feel well, continue taking it as prescribed, as most people with high blood pressure do not feel sick.

Lotas-50 Tablet is taken orally, which means it is swallowed with water. It is not meant to be used externally or injected.

Lotas-50 Tablet contains an active ingredient called losartan potassium. Losartan works by blocking certain receptors in the body, thus preventing a hormone called angiotensin II from binding to these receptors. This action helps relax and widen blood vessels, allowing for smoother blood flow and reducing high blood pressure.

By blocking angiotensin II receptors, losartan also helps reduce the production of another hormone called aldosterone. Aldosterone causes sodium and fluid retention in the body, leading to increased blood volume and higher blood pressure levels.
