Lorinol-10 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing symptoms of allergic rhinitis, also known as hay fever

• Reducing itching and rash associated with urticaria, commonly known as hives

• Providing relief from various allergic skin conditions

• Alleviating symptoms caused by insect bites or stings

• Assisting in managing some food allergies

Here's how you should take Lorinol-10 Tablet:

• Place the tablet on your tongue and allow it to disintegrate before swallowing.

• You can take the tablet with or without water.

• Always follow your doctor's recommended dose.

• Do not take more than the suggested dose without consulting your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without first consulting your doctor.

Lorinol-10 Tablet is taken orally.

Lorinol-10 Tablet contains loratadine (10 mg), which acts on the body in the following ways:

• Blocks Histamine: Loratadine works by inhibiting the action of histamine at H1 receptors in your body. Histamine is a chemical messenger that triggers allergic symptoms.

• Reduces Allergic Symptoms: By blocking histamine at H1 receptors, loratadine prevents and decreases itching, sneezing, runny nose and other allergy symptoms.

• Causes Less Drowsiness: As loratadine does not readily enter the brain from the blood, it causes less drowsiness compared to first-generation antihistamines.

• Long Duration of Action: Loratadine has a long duration of action which supports oncedaily dosing for managing allergy symptoms effectively.

• Keep Lorinol-10 Tablet in a dry and dark place to protect it from moisture and light.

• The ideal storage temperature is between 20°C and 25°C.

• Make sure the medicine is out of children's reach.

• Use Lorinol-10 Tablet before the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.

• If you're managing allergic rhinitis with Lorinol-10 Tablet, try reducing your exposure to pollen by keeping windows closed during pollen season and washing your hair before bed to remove trapped pollen.

• To alleviate urticaria or hives symptoms, avoid known triggers such as certain foods or medicines, and wear loose, light clothing that doesn't irritate your skin.
