The common side effects of Hyocimax tablets are:

Increased heart rate- Hyocimax tablets may increase the patient's heart rate. This may also be accompanied by sweating and restlessness. Immediately consult a doctor if the heart rate is not returning to normal on its own. 

Diarrhoea - Loose, watery stools characterise diarrhoea, typically seen when the drug course starts. Usually, taking too many laxatives causes diarrhoea. 

Blurred vision- Hyocimax may cause blurred vision for some time, and headaches may also accompany it. Consult a doctor if this persists for a considerably long time. 

Managing side effects 

Increased Heart Rate: Take rest and drink plenty of fluids. Consult a doctor if your vision is not returning to normal within a few minutes. 

Diarrhoea: It can be managed by eating foods like rice and bananas. Avoid greasy foods, and stay well hydrated. 

Blurred vision: Consuming bilberry and incorporating omega-3 fatty acids into your diet may support eye health and potentially improve vision. However, consult a doctor if blurred vision persists.

Precautions 

Pregnancy 

Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Hyocimax during pregnancy. Inform them about your pregnancy status and discuss any potential risks or concerns. Hyocimax may be harmful during pregnancy, according to animal studies. 

Breastfeeding

When you are allergic to any of the key ingredients of Hyocimax tablet, do not take the medicine and inform the doctor. The doctor will decide about the further use of the tablet.

Use in children

Hyocimax can be used in children aged six and above. The dosage is to be prescribed by the paediatrician. 

Use in older patients 

Hyocimax tablets should be used with caution in elderly patients. The dosage may need to be adjusted by the physician.
