Gabaneuron SR 600 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing neuropathic pain, a type of chronic pain resulting from nerve damage often described as a burning, stabbing or shooting sensation.

• Relief in diabetic neuropathy, nerve damage caused by high blood sugar levels.

• Alleviating postherpetic neuralgia which involves persistent pain even after recovery from shingles infection.

• Easing trigeminal neuralgia, a chronic pain condition affecting the trigeminal nerve in your face.

• Reducing discomfort in sciatica, a condition characterised by pain going down the leg from the lower back.

Follow these instructions while taking Gabaneuron SR 600 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Ensure a gap of at least 12 hours between two doses.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first. The medication should not be stopped suddenly on your own accord.

Gabaneuron SR 600 Tablet is taken orally.

This tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Gabapentin (600 mg): This ingredient acts on the calcium channels in your nerves. By doing this, it regulates the release of excitatory neurotransmitters that are involved in sending pain signals. This regulation helps to reduce the painful sensations that are common in neuropathic pain conditions.

• Ensure it is out of reach from children.
