Fusiderm Cream 10gm

The uses of Fusiderm Cream include:

• Impetigo (a weeping, crusty, and swollen patch of skin)
• Infected cuts and abrasions 
• Infected contact dermatitis (inflammation of the skin)
• Infected eczema

• Clean your hands thoroughly before and after applying the cream. 
• If treating the affected area, avoid washing it immediately after application. 
• Cleanse the infected area before applying the cream and ensure it is dry. 
• Gently rub in a layer of the cream on the infected skin. If your doctor advises you to use a thin dressing to cover the area.

Fusiderm Cream is for external use only, so apply it to the affected area as directed.

Fusiderm Cream contains the following ingredient:

• Fusidic acid (2%): It is a bacteriostatic antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis in susceptible bacteria. This interference disrupts the translation process in bacterial cells, preventing the formation of essential proteins required for bacterial growth and replication.

• Fusiderm Cream should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Ensure regular and thorough handwashing to minimise the risk of skin infections.
• Swiftly clean and cover cuts, scrapes, wounds, or insect bites to prevent infection.
• Bandage skin infections after proper cleaning and drying to aid healing.
• Reduce skin-to-skin contact with individuals who have skin infections to prevent transmission. 
• Safely discard used gloves and bandages in designated garbage bins.
• Refrain from sharing personal items like towels, soap, razors, clothing, or toys to prevent contagion.
• Regularly clean and sanitise shared bedding or toys to maintain a hygienic environment.
