Eptus 25 Tablet is a diuretic also known as a water pill. Eptus 25 tablet primarily treats hypertension (high blood pressure) and heart failure. It is also used to decrease swelling (oedema) caused by several various conditions.
It may be used alone or with other medications, such as ACE inhibitors or beta-blockers, to control blood pressure.
Eptus 25 tablet is rapidly absorbed after oral administration and reaches maximum plasma concentrations within 1-2 hours. It is metabolised in the liver and excreted primarily in the faeces.
Eptus 25 tablet can also cause dizziness or lightheadedness, especially during the initial days of treatment. Therefore, Patients should follow their healthcare provider's instructions for taking the medication and promptly report any side effects or concerns.
However, Eptus 25 mg tablet has been shown to improve heart function and reduce hospitalisations for heart failure in these patients.
