Dajio-M500 Tablet consists of two components:

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): This ingredient belongs to the class of sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors. It works by reducing the amount of glucose reabsorbed by your kidneys, which leads to more glucose being excreted through urine. This process effectively lowers blood glucose levels.

• Metformin (500 mg): As an anti-hyperglycaemic agent, metformin decreases the production of glucose in your liver and reduces the absorption of glucose in your gut. Additionally, it improves insulin sensitivity by boosting glucose uptake and utilisation in peripheral body parts like muscles. These combined actions help control high blood sugar levels.
