Sumo Gel is generally used for managing the following health conditions:

• Sprained muscles

• Soft tissue injuries

• Aching back issues

• Joint inflammation and pain, as in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis

• Tendinitis

• Bursitis

Here are the guidelines for applying Sumo Gel:

• Start by cleaning the area where you will apply the gel.

• Apply a thin layer of Sumo Gel to the affected area.

• Gently massage until the gel is fully absorbed into the skin.

• Repeat this process 3 to 4 times a day, or as advised by your doctor.

• Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after each application, unless your hands are the area being treated.

• Do not use on broken or inflamed skin.

Sumo Gel is applied topically.

Sumo Gel contains multiple active ingredients that work together:

• Diclofenac diethylamine (1.16%): This nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine reduces pain and swelling by inhibiting the production of prostaglandin in your body which causes these symptoms.

• Linseed oil (3%): This has anti-inflammatory properties due to its omega-3 fatty acid content, particularly alpha-linolenic acid. It helps reduce inflammation.

• Menthol (5%): Menthol acts as a counterirritant. It creates a cooling sensation when applied to the skin. It stimulates cold receptors in the skin to distract from pain signals, providing a soothing effect while promoting local blood circulation.

• Methyl salicylate (10%): This is also a counterirritant that widens blood vessels at the site of application to increase blood flow and create a warming sensation. This helps relax sore muscles and relieve pain.

• Store Sumo Gel in a dark and dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.

• Ensure the tube is tightly closed after each use to prevent the gel from drying out.

• Always keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

• Make certain to use Sumo Gel before its expiry date.

• If you're using Sumo Gel for joint pain due to osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, include foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, like fish, walnuts, and chia seeds, in your diet. Omega-3s are known to help reduce inflammation.

• Regular, gentle exercise can help manage muscle sprains, strains, and joint pain. Activities like walking, swimming, or yoga can help keep your muscles flexible and strong. Remember to warm up before exercising and cool down afterward to avoid injuries.
