Taxim 1000 MG Injection 1

Taxim Injection is used in the treatment of:

• Lower respiratory tract infections 
• Genitourinary infections
• Gynecologic infections
• Bacteremia/Septicemia
• Skin and skin structure infections
• Intra-abdominal infections
• Bone and/or joint infections
• Central nervous system infections

Taxim Injection should be administered by a healthcare professional only.

This injection should be given intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM).

Taxim Injection contains the following component: 

• Cefotaxime (1000 mg): It is an antibiotic that works by interacting with proteins in bacteria; it prevents the building of the bacterial cell wall, which leads to the death of the bacteria. 

• Store this medicine at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep this injection away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Drink enough fluids to flush out toxins from the body and promote healing. 
• Include a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins in your diet. Foods high in vitamin C, zinc, and iron can help support your immune system and promote healing.
• Avoid sugary and processed foods. It can weaken the immune system and promote inflammation, making it harder for your body to fight infection.
• Avoid spicy foods as they can trigger the symptoms.
• Get enough rest to let your body heal and recover from the infection. 
• Avoid smoking and alcohol. It can weaken the immune system.
• Keep the affected area clean and dry. Use mild soap and warm water to clean the area, and pat it dry gently. Avoid scratching or picking at the site of infection.
• Keeping your genital area clean and dry can help prevent the spread of bacteria. 
• Tight clothing and synthetic fabrics can trap moisture and promote the growth of bacteria. Wear loose, breathable clothing made of natural fibres like cotton.
