Nasocan Nasal Drops 10ml

Nasocan Nasal Drops are used for the following health conditions:

• Easing nasal congestion linked with common cold and flu symptoms.

• Reducing nasal blockages caused by sinusitis, an inflammation or swelling of the tissue lining the sinuses.

• Alleviating congestion in the nose due to allergic rhinitis, commonly known as hay fever.

• Managing perennial rhinitis, which is a year-round nasal congestion and discharge.

• Providing relief from Eustachian tube congestion, where the tube connecting the middle ear to the back of your nose gets blocked.

Here's how you should use Nasocan Nasal Drops:

• It's for intranasal use only. Do not swallow.

• Blow your nose gently before application to clear the nostrils.

• Tilt your head backward while sitting or lying down for better reach.

• Apply few drops in each nostril as needed, but do not exceed 3 doses in 24 hours.

• Allow a few minutes for the drops to spread within the nose by keeping your head tilted back.

Nasocan Nasal Drops is administered intranasally.

Nasocan Nasal Drops contains Xylometazoline (0.1%), which provides relief from nasal congestion in the following ways:

• Vasoconstriction: Xylometazoline causes vasoconstriction or narrowing of blood vessels in your nasal passages. This process reduces swelling and helps open up blocked noses.

• Reducing Nasal Tissue Hyperemia: Hyperemia refers to increased blood flow in tissues. By reducing hyperemia in nasal tissues, xylometazoline helps relieve the sense of pressure and discomfort associated with nasal congestion.

• Decreasing Rhinorrhea: Rhinorrhea is a fancy term for a runny nose. Xylometazoline helps control the excessive production of mucus, thus reducing runny noses.

• Improving Nasal Airflow: As a result of all these actions, xylometazoline ultimately improves nasal airflow, making it easier for you to breathe.

• Store Nasocan Nasal Drops below 30°C.

• The bottle should be tightly closed when not in use.

• Always keep the product out of reach and sight of children.

• Use the drops within 28 days of opening the bottle.

• If you're suffering from allergic rhinitis, try to avoid allergens like dust, pollen, and pet dander, which might worsen your symptoms.

• For those with sinusitis, maintain a fluid-rich diet. Warm liquids such as soups or teas can help moisten your nasal passages and soothe sinus discomfort.
