Mecofol Tablet 10

Mecofol Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Addressing pernicious anaemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency

• Managing vitamin B12 deficiency caused by inadequate dietary intake

• Assisting with conditions of increased vitamin B12 requirements

• Alleviating symptoms associated with peripheral neuropathy

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine as directed by your doctor.

• Do not adjust your dosage without consulting your doctor first.

Mecofol Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Mecofol Tablet 10 contains methylcobalamin (500 mcg), which works on your body as follows:

• Red Blood Cell Formation: Methylcobalamin aids in the production of red blood cells. These cells are responsible for delivering oxygen from your lungs to every cell in your body.

• DNA Synthesis: This component assists in the creation of DNA, the genetic material in all cells. DNA synthesis is important for cell division and growth.

• Cardiovascular Health: It plays a role in converting homocysteine into methionine, reducing homocysteine levels and thereby potentially lowering the risk of heart diseases.
