Ekran Lotion 50 GM

Ekran Lotion is put to use for the following:

• Providing protection against UVA and UVB radiation from the sun.

• Preventing sunburn during outdoor activities and recreation.

• Decreasing the risk of premature skin ageing due to sun exposure.

• Reducing the chances of skin cancer associated with excessive exposure to sunlight.

• Forming a protective barrier on your skin during swimming or sweating, due to its water resistance.

To obtain maximum benefit from Ekran Lotion, follow these steps:

• Before sun exposure, apply the lotion generously and evenly to all exposed areas, at least 15 minutes in advance.

• After swimming or sweating for 80 minutes, or immediately after towel drying, reapply the lotion.

• Ensure you reapply the lotion as directed by your doctor.

• In case you wish to use this product on children under 6 months old, please consult your doctor first.

Ekran Lotion is applied topically.

Ekran Lotion is a complex formulation with five active ingredients:

• Octinoxate (7.5%): It absorbs UV-B rays from the sun, preventing sunburn. It collects in the uppermost layer of your skin, increasing its resistance to UV radiation.

• Avobenzone (2%): This oil-soluble ingredient absorbs the full spectrum of UVA rays, protecting other sunscreen components like octinoxate from degradation.

• Oxybenzone (3%): This ingredient penetrates deep into your skin, acting as an effective UV filter against both UVA and UVB radiation.

• Octocrylene (3%): Also an oil-soluble UV-B filter, octocrylene provides some protection against short-wave UVA rays while stabilising other active ingredients and improving water resistance.

• Zinc Oxide (2%): An inorganic physical blocker that sits on your skin's surface, zinc oxide reflects and absorbs both UVA and UVB rays, offering comprehensive broad-spectrum protection.

These active ingredients work together to provide high SPF broad-spectrum protection that remains photostable and resistant to being washed off by water or sweat.

• Store Ekran Lotion at room temperature, between 20°C and 25°C.

• Keep away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.

• Ensure the tube is tightly closed after each use to prevent air exposure.

• Keep this lotion out of reach of children to avoid accidental ingestion.

• Since prolonged exposure to sunlight can damage skin and increase cancer risks, limit your time in the sun, especially during peak hours (10 am to 4 pm). Instead, engage in indoor activities or seek shade when outdoors.

• Maintain a diet rich in antioxidants like fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants help protect your skin cells from damage by harmful free radicals produced by UV radiation.
