Cefadrox 250 MG Dry Syrup is used to treat bacterial infections, including skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, and respiratory tract infections in children. It belongs to the first-generation cephalosporin group of antibiotics.
This antibiotic is also effective in managing urinary tract infections caused by E. coli, P. mirabilis, and Klebsiella species. It helps treat skin and skin-structure infections caused by staphylococci and/or streptococci, as well as pharyngitis and tonsillitis due to Streptococcus pyogenes (Group A beta-hemolytic streptococci).
