Mac-MPS Oral Suspension comprises four active ingredients:

• Aluminium hydroxide (250 mg): This antacid works by neutralising stomach acid. It raises the pH level in your stomach, reducing acidity and easing irritation of the stomach lining and oesophagus.

• Magnesium hydroxide (250 mg): Also an antacid, magnesium hydroxide operates similarly to aluminium hydroxide, aiding in the reduction of acidity levels in your stomach.

• Simethicone (50 mg): This anti-foaming agent reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles in your stomach and intestines, allowing them to combine more easily for expulsion from the digestive tract.

• Sorbitol (1.25 gm): A sugar alcohol used as a sweetener in this medicine formulation, sorbitol is not well absorbed in the intestine, allowing the product to be sugar-free. At high doses, sorbitol also acts as a mild laxative which can counteract any constipating effects of the antacids.

• Store Mac-MPS Oral Suspension at an ideal room temperature of below 30°C.
