Contraindications

• This combination may interact with opioids (such as morphine and tramadol), barbiturates (like phenobarbital and secobarbital), CNS depressants (such as diazepam, phenobarbitol), antihistamines (like diphenhydramine, cetirizine), tricyclic antidepressants (like amitriptyline, nortriptyline), antipsychotics (like haloperidol, chlorpromazine), muscle relaxants (like carisoprodol, baclofen), and antifungals (ketoconazole, itraconazole).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose can result in severe drowsiness, confusion, respiratory depression, dry mouth, or blurred vision. Immediate medical attention is required.

• If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is closer to the time for the next dose, skip the missed one and return to your regular dosing schedule.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and harmless. They usually resolve upon discontinuation of the combination. However, if any severe side effects or worsening of symptoms occur, consult your doctor immediately.

• If you experience dry mouth, try chewing sugarless gum or sipping on water frequently.
