Ofloxacin (200 mg): This fluoroquinolone antibiotic stops bacterial cell division by blocking DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV enzymes' activity. These enzymes are needed for unwinding, replicating, and resealing bacterial DNA during cell division. By disrupting this process, ofloxacin causes breaks in bacterial chromosomes and prevents bacteria from multiplying.
