Ezo Cl 50/31.5 MG Dry Syrup 30 ML is used for the management of the following conditions in your child:

• Middle ear infection

• Pharyngitis and tonsillitis

• Acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis

• Uncomplicated skin and skin-structure infections

• Uncomplicated urinary tract infections

• Shake the bottle well before each use to make sure the medicine is evenly mixed.

• Use the measuring cup provided with the bottle to measure out the correct dose.

• You can give this medicine directly into your child's mouth or mix it with milk, fruit juice, or baby formula if needed.

• Remember that this medicine is sugar-based. If your child has diabetes, consult your doctor before giving this medicine.

Ezo Cl 50/31.5 MG Dry Syrup 30 ML is given orally.

Ezo Cl 50/31.5 MG Dry Syrup 30 ML contains two active ingredients:

• Cefpodoxime Proxetil (50 mg): This is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that battles bacteria by inhibiting their cell wall synthesis. It does this by binding to certain proteins within bacteria known as penicillin-binding proteins, disrupting their cell wall formation process. As a result, these bacterial cells become weak and ultimately lyse or break apart.

• Clavulanic Acid (31.25 mg): Clavulanic acid is the enzyme produced by certain bacteria that can break down and inactivate antibiotics such as penicillins and cephalosporins. Clavulanic acid blocks the action of these beta-lactamase enzymes, thus preventing them from inactivating the antibiotic.

• Keep the reconstituted Ezo Cl 50/31.5 MG Dry Syrup 30 ML refrigerated at a temperature below 30°C.

• Ensure the bottle is kept tightly closed to prevent exposure to air.

• Store away from direct sunlight or high temperatures, as they might affect the medicine's effectiveness.

• Always keep the medicine out of reach and sight of children.

• To help manage infections, encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids. This helps flush bacteria from their body.

• Give probiotics to your child to help heal their gut flora. It might help restore the balance of the gut flora, which can be upset by antibiotic treatment and lead to stomach issues.
