Extend Forte Tablet contains Acetylcysteine, which is a mucolytic agent, which is a type of medication that helps to loosen up mucus. Mucoviscidosis (an inherited life-threatening disorder that damages the lungs and digestive system) and bronchiectasis (inflammation of the mucous membrane lining of the airways) are all conditions that affect the airways. It is used to treat these conditions as well as other respiratory diseases (chronic widening of an airway passage). This medication helps to deconstruct and loosen thick phlegm, making it watery and easier to cough up. Children under the age of two should not be given this medication under any circumstances. It is not recommended for use by children and adolescents under the age of 18. This medication is only intended for use by adults. Always follow your doctor's instructions and take Extend Forte Tablet exactly as directed. Take this medication with or without food, as directed by your doctor. During this treatment, it is not advisable to consume any alcoholic beverages. Inform your doctor if you have ever had renal illness, heart disease, or pancreas problems before using this medication. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should contact with their doctor before taking this medication.
