Doxinate Plus Tablet is used for:

• Managing nausea and vomiting in pregnant women
• Providing relief from morning sickness during pregnancy
• Supplementing essential nutrients for foetal development
• Preventing complications such as dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, and poor nutrition in pregnant women due to nausea and vomiting

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing, chewing or splitting the tablet.
• It's best to take Doxinate Plus Tablet on an empty stomach.
• Always follow the dosage prescribed by your doctor.
• Remember not to discontinue the medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Doxinate Plus Tablet is taken orally.

Doxinate Plus Tablet contains three active ingredients, doxylamine (10 mg), folic acid (2.5 mg) and vitamin B6/pyridoxine (10 mg) that work in the following way:

• Doxylamine (10 mg): This works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance in your body that can cause nausea and vomiting. It also influences certain chemicals in the brain like acetylcholine and serotonin that play a role in the vomiting process.
• Vitamin B6/pyridoxine (10 mg): Pyridoxine is involved in many body functions including red blood cell production and nervous system function. Adequate levels of vitamin B6 are crucial during pregnancy as a deficiency can lead to nausea and vomiting.
