Contraindications

• Timolol + Travoprost is contraindicated in individuals with bronchial asthma or a history of bronchial asthma.
• It should not be administered to patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
• Its use is contraindicated in individuals suffering from sinus bradycardia, second or third-degree atrioventricular block, overt cardiac failure, or cardiogenic shock.
• Patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the medication should also not use it.

Other Medications to Avoid With This Medicine

• Timolol + Travoprost may interact with calcium channel blockers (such as diltiazem and verapamil), and catecholamine-depleting medicines (such as reserpine).
• It may also interact with thimerosal, a preservative found in some ophthalmic products.

Overdose and Missed Dose

• In case you happen to put a few extra drops of this medicine in your eye, do not panic. Rinse your eyes with clean, room-temperature water. If any symptoms persist or worsen, inform your doctor.
• If you miss a dose of this eye drop medication, you should take it as soon as you remember. But if it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
