Uses of Psoralen

How Psoralen works
Psoralen is a photosensitizing agent that increases the skin's sensitivity to ultraviolet A (UVA) light. This triggers an inflammatory response, leading to increased melanin production, which darkens the skin. Over time, this results in thickening of the outer skin layer, helping to manage various skin conditions.
