Uses of Bromocriptine
The primary use of Bromocriptine is for the management of disorders associated with elevated prolactin levels (hyperprolactinemia), such as abnormal breast milk production (galactorrhea), absence of menstrual periods (amenorrhea), and infertility. Bromocriptine belongs to the group of medicines known as dopamine receptor agonists.
